Acrylic is an art-rock quintet from Glasgow. The five university and art school students combine atmospheric sounds with intricate rhythms, reminiscent of The National, Frightened Rabbit and Diiv. They’ve received support through BBC Introducing from Vic Galloway, Roddy Hart and Nicola Meighan and have secured a play on Dermot O’leary’s BBC Radio 2 show. They also made appearances at various UK festivals in 2016 including Belladrum (Scotland) and OnBlackheath (London). New single ‘Coast’ available to stream now via Little Tiger Records. ‘Music Glue’

Overdog |

Overdog are a 5-piece London-based rock band with a love of vocal harmonies, intelligent lyrics and classic rock sounds with a modern edge. Formed in 2011, their first EP ‘Structured Lives’ received radio airplay on ‘BBC Introducing in Oxford’. Their latest EP, ‘The Breeze That Hits Your Ear’, released in late 2016, showcases an evolution from the melodic rock/punk that defined their earlier sound towards more atmospheric and multi-layered textures.
