‘Who Brought the Parents’ is a live music and DJ collective, now running for eight years, comprising Indie Kline, an accomplished quartet playing energetic, happy pop/rock with echoes of Depeche Mode, The Wonder Stuff and, dare we say it, the late, great David Bowie.
Indie Kline have been regulars on the capital’s club scene for the past 10 years having previously taken residence at Heavenly Social, former home of the Chemical Brothers. They will playing songs from across their repertoire including their last album False Perspective, which received some great reviews in 2015/16, as well as new material due for release later this year.
They make light of middle-aged angst and eccentricities, while their synthesisers and all-girl backing singers belt out the kind of harmonies that force you to the dance floor.
Joining, in as a rare treat, will be Radio Plum broadcasting live from the decks, followed by back2backfm regular alternative jazz aficionado Alan McK. who is joined by colleagues Rock, Block and the Mighty Muktarsingh with some more off-the-beaten track feel-good dance tunes.
