JAY VEE presents our first show of 2018, and holy cow, is it a good’un.

RANDY SAVAGES top the bill, fresh from their first tour of duty on the road in Italy.  Slingin’ proper garage-punk-powerpop with an apparent effortlessness that belies a tight-as-you-like precision, these guys are going from strength to strength and have been wowing audiences up, down and outside the UK of late.  A privilege to have ’em down in our tiny sweatbox for the first time.

THE SPACEWASTERS need no introduction to regular attendees of these nights, but given there’s only about three of those, let’s do it: hair-greasin’ no-frills punk rock’n’roll from the apex of the Sonics-Motörhead curve (it’s a thing, we assure you), guaranteed to get you mothers dancing – whether of the twist or slam variety is up to you.

We’ve been trying to get hold of THE MILK LIZARDS for friggin’ ages now, and all our pestering has finally paid off.  Boiler-suited reptilian space-age tech-surf abounds – fans of Man-Or-Astro-Man?, the Irradiates et al will not be disappointed, and you can hold us to that!

ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE open proceedings – a genuine supergroup.  A few of us on the scene were lucky enough to catch the white-hot rock’n’roll clatter of Roadkill Records up-and-comers Broken Soundtracks over the last few years.  Following their tragic, inevitable implosion, frontman Charlie Sundown is back with this new outfit, alongside Dr Jackit (HOTGOTHIC, TERMINAL GODS) and the spectacularly-named Jake Christpunch (DYSTERIA, WHO CARES?).  Expect surf twang, psych freakouts and muscle-car-revving rumble.

As always, all this is available to you beautiful rock’n’roll fans for a mere fiver, and we’ll be giving away FREE SHOTS on entry.

See you at the bar!
