A classically trained vocalist, Sunny Ozell found her voice performing in New York City clubs in front of the most discerning of audiences. There she honed her sound with elements of jazz, blues, and American roots as part of the city’s tight-knit musical community.

After over a decade of live shows around New York, Ozell has mastered the art of interpreting works by other songwriters, with the ability to dig deep to find the true meaning of a song, perhaps even discovering qualities in them the author never suspected. Her experience singing blues and jazz, musical forms which demand powerful doses of character and insight from their performers—has led her to this moment, the release of her debut album ‘Take It With Me’.
