Touring for the second time in Europe, the San-Diego based young Tap Guitarist and Alternative Acoustic Singer Songwriter will bring unforgettable melodies and songs from across the ocean, introducing his new album “Riverside”. His musicianship includes having worked with producers of The Tempations, Switchfoot, and Adam Levine. Lyrical, catchy, and emotional – weaving his personal stories, struggles, and questions into songs – his music will guarantee to leave an impresssion on all those who hear it.
The Vanguards are a five-piece traditional bluegrass band based in London. They take their musical inspiration from the originators of bluegrass music. Instrumentally, they seek to create a sound which blends the mandolin style of Bill Monroe, the banjo style of Ralph Stanley and the old-time style of fiddling which was a feature of early bluegrass recordings. Vocally, they are heavily influenced by the Stanley Brothers and the duet and trio harmonies of Bill Monroe & His Blue Grass Boys. Their repertoire reflects these musical influences. Their performances regularly include the traditional bluegrass songs and instrumentals made popular by the first-generation of bluegrass musicians. They combined these with a number of more modern compositions which are in the spirit of the pioneers of bluegrass music. They also enjoy introducing audiences to obscure, rarely-heard traditional bluegrass songs and tunes.
