Orchid Collective consists of four musicians from each corner of Ireland, David O ‘ Shea (lead vocals, guitar), Shea Tohill (lead guitar, vocals), Hugh O’Neill (bass, vocals) and Darra Doyle (drums, vocals). Orchid Collective being together for just under two years have been gigging relentlessly throughout Ireland and the UK. Working tirelessly to create a fresh and exciting live show for their growing audience. Mixing a combination of vocal harmonies and ambient soundscapes, akin to the likes of their inspirations Villagers, Half Moon Run, Alt- J and Bon Iver.

Playing packed out tents at almost every festival in Ireland in 2017 (Electric Picnic, Indiependence, Sea Sessions) to making their debut UK appearance at Y Not Festival in Derbyshire. Finding themselves on playlists across RTE 2FM, RTE Radio One, getting spins on BBC Radio One as Phil Taggart’s Future First and BBC Six as Tom Robinson’s Fresh Faves. Latest offering Otherside has seen wide critical acclaim. Clocking in 150,000 streams and gathering over 60,000 listeners form around the world on Spotify in two months. It has reached 7.7 million people nationally in Ireland being play listed on RTE 2FM, Irish track of the week on Today FM and JOE.ie song of the day all in it’s first week of release. It’s recently been featured by Tom Robinson on BBC 6 Music Introducing Mixtape and is due to appear in the next season of Made in Chelsea.
