UK Country and Americana’s newest sweetheart”* Penny Riviera returns to The Islington with a full band on May 13th to premiere her second single ‘Real Man’ from her eagerly anticipated first record which set to be released later this Summer! She will perform the track alongside a romance and easy listening themed set.

Discovered as a teen by the son of the late great American Country Music Producer, Paul Cohen; Penny spent her formative years in Nashville, Sydney, Melbourne and Toronto under the mentorship of a host of classic rock and country artists who helped her to hone her personal songwriting style and sound. Her sweet and strong voice draws comparisons to artists Emmy Lou Harris, Shania Twain, Miranda Lambert and Debbie Harry.
