Well – we begin with R.E.M. – that part’s easy.  But what happened next? Another band and a singer with an R.E.M. album in his hands for the first time.  A band on a stage with some R.E.M. songs in their set.  A live performance from R.E.M. themselves that was “the best gig ever…”

Steps along the way – different names for this tribute as times changed.  But much more remains the same.  The desire to perform this music live; as a tribute to the best band ever.  To play these songs to R.E.M. fans new and old, to take this out into the world.  See you out there …
