He has played with such luminaries as Alexis Korner, Jo Ann Kelly, Eric Bibb and Bonnie Raitt in a long and varied musical career.

But somehow singer, slide guitar and harmonica player Raphael Callaghan has remained largely hidden from the wider world of blues and roots, while continuing to operate around his native Merseyside area.

All this began to change in 2017 when his first solo album, Said And Done, received rapturous reviews and was championed by Paul Jones on his BBC Radio 2 blues show and on digital stations around the world.
