SYML

Translated as “simple” in Welsh, SYML is the creation of Brian Fennell, a Seattle-native and founding member of the band Barcelona.

With a keen grasp on textural and emotive songwriting, Fennell combines bare piano, minimalist synth and string-scapes with ethereal vocals to take the listener on a journey through the senses.

An expert in crafting songs that evoke movement, Brian helped Barcelona achieve numerous placements in TV and film. SYML is already following in those footsteps with synch placements on hit shows like Elementary, Teen Wolf, The Originals, Scream and Killjoys.
