We’re so pleased that Graham Parker’s coming in on October 14. His life before his first hit would make an evening in itself – the lure of the Beatles, Motown and psychedelia, hitching around Morocco, the rubber glove factory in Colchester, a band called Terry Burbot’s Magic Mud…. From the late ‘70s it’s the big breakthrough with the Rumour and tales of Dylan at Blackbushe, Jack Nitzsche, Jimmy Iovine, Bruce Springsteen, Kate Pierson and the movie with Judd Apatow. He’s back on the road in November/December.And to cement a splendid double-bill, old pal of the podcast Andrew Collins is onboard too (the Radio Times/Classic FM film guru). It’s been a huge year for music films – Marianne & Leonard, Rolling Thunder, Rocketman, Bohemian Rhapsody, Motown – so he’s presenting his countdown of the 10 Best Rock Movies Ever Made.
