On Tuesday June 11 we’re joined, delightfully, by Kenney Jones who’s just recorded his life story in the long-awaited ‘Let The Good Times Roll’, a highly entertaining memoir featuring his spell in the Small Faces, the ascent and world-trampling adventures of the Faces and his time with the Who.
Will there be talk of Don Arden? Did Spike Milligan nearly play the Stanley Unwin part on Ogden’s Nut Gone Flake? What blunt objects did he and Keith Moon hurl from a Melbourne hotel window? How were those sessions with Chuck Berry and Jerry Lee Lewis?
The evening starts at 7.15pm at our usual venue, the Islington pub near Angel tube station and he’ll be happy to sign copies of his excellent book.
